The Chardonnay Symposium: a photo essay
The Symposium was last Saturday in the Santa Maria Valley of Santa Barbara County. I hope you like these pictures.

Gus, back at the red house, after a long day!
Great photos, Steve. Wish I could have been there. I heard great, great things about this event. Love the photos of Gus, too. What a sweetheart.
Jealous!
Love the photos. A photo journal says so much without having to write copiously. big smile on that one!
So adorable to see your constant companion Mr. Gus.
Thanks for capturing the “real” James Hall! You can let him go now 🙂
Looks like fun Steve!!
Hey Jayson – how bout that tatt?!?!! [signed] Waiting in Oakland
Steve, that’s Eric Johnson of Talley Vineyards. I thought he did a great job even though you put him on the spot by asking him to compare Edna Valley to Arroyo Grande Valley.
Hey, I see me in that photo. I tried to squeeze off a shot of gus, but he was on the move. It turned into more of an action shot 🙂
I can’t get enough Bien Nacido fruit and I just love the beauty of the Millers vineyards. TCS is one of my favorite events of the year and I really enjoyed listening to the panel session again this year.
*I believe that Talley’s winemaker is Eric Johnson.
Great pics of beautiful Bien Nacido and the most underrated AVA (SM Valley)
Curious as to your ratings on the wines from Bien Nacido and Solomon Hills based on the fact they put you up when you stay there.
A little conflict of interest?
