As a follower of Randall Graham I can say he is an engaging guy and a good tweeter.

Btw, nothing wrong with a little Big House Red now and then. Cardinal Zin was the first wine I ever paid >$10 for and I've been hooked on wine ever since!

Very much enjoyed the article.. Thanks Steve / Randall. Great insights. I was recently very appreciative when Randall starting following me particularly as he explains above "I hope to people interested in my wines, who are potentially influencers of other people who are interested in wine". Randall .... Yes ... and I hope so!

Dylan, I sometimes wonder whether to acknowledge every comment on this blog. Some other bloggers do. My own feeling is, if there's not a natural, spontaneous response that arises in my mind, I don't respond -- although I'm grateful for every comment!

I absolutely love when he said this, "What I’m trying to do, to the extent I understand it, is uphold my end of the social contract. There’s an implicit contract that says 'I will be responsive most of the time.'" That shows to me that he understands that's what makes the wheels go around on Twitter. That's the fun of it for me at least. I have had dialogue with people who inspire me through Twitter; that never would have worked before through e-mail.
